Aged 33 years

Alison lived in Liverpool and was the youngest daughter of Ronnie and Edna, youngest sister of Diane and Paul. Alison was married to Brian (Wally) and had a daughter Lauren who was only 4 years old when she lost her lovely mum.

Alison fought a brave battle with ovarian cancer for many years but in the end could fight no more and sadly passed away aged 33 years.

She was my best friend, and not a day goes by without us all thinking of her. We miss her so much.

Alison was a fun and bubbly character who loved her family and friends so much.

it seems like I am the only one that comes on here to speak to you now mum, that angers me so much, how could people talk that they miss you when they make no effort to do anything,I need you so much, there are so many things I have gone through with out you there which would have been so much easier for me with you guiding me along! Why couldn't people just keep to promises, I need someone in my life to help me, it just feels like I am so lonely in this world with no-one that understands me, I am so lost with out you mum, I miss you so much, it has been too long since I last saw your beautiful face, and heard your lovely voice, Rest In Peace My Angel x

My angel

I thought you said you'd always be there, so where are you now? It's okay, I know where, your in a special place far from here. A place for all the special people God deemed worthy enough to be in his paradise. So why did you go there? You went because decided you were the most special type of person, an angel, not just any angel, my angel. Sworn to protect me throughout anything, I guess you do. You mightn't be a body to cry on, or an ear to whisper my secrets to, but your there for me in a way nobody else could, up there in your special place watching down on me all the time, maybe one day I'll join you there, but until then my dear mother, I thank you for everything you could have possibly done for me, I am so proud to have been your daughter.

Dear Mum

Dear Mum,
A little verse to say I care.
Everything stopped the day you weren't there.
10 year approach, a pain I can't bare.
As days go on, more and more it hurts.

'I miss you' three words not enough.
Getting older, times get tough.

No child wants to see their parent in pain.
My belly gets warm when I hear your name.

Dear mum,
I need you.
To see you again.
A dream come true.

Happy Birthday Mum.

Today we find ourselves celebrating what would be your 43rd birthday, it has been hard these last 10 years without your beautiful face to cheer us up. With a sorrow in my heart I write this message, have a happy birthday mum, you deserve it, in a way I'm glad your away sleeping with the angels, as you had a very painful and hard life with us and at least this way you will not be in any more pain. I hope that me and you do get a chance in the future to have a proper reunion, because I really would like to get to know my mother, you where such a kind, caring woman. Rest in peace mum, Happy Birthday, and enjoy your sleep with the angels. Xxxxxxx

Happy Birthday In Heaven - by Winnie Lovett

"Happy Birthday Alison"
It's sure to be the best one yet,
Though you left us here behind.
Did you think that we'd forget?

Your cake this year, will surely be,
A beauty to behold.
With the icing made of Silver,
And the candles made of Gold.

Yes, your birthday in Heaven,
Will be such a grand affair.
And I know you'll look so lovely,
With a halo in your hair.

The Angels will come from everywhere,
To sing your birthday song.
And I know they'll be so happy,
That you've joined, God's Happy Throng.

No I can't send a card this year,
Or give a gift so fine.
So I'll just send a special prayer,
To that wonderful Friend of yours.
